7th International Leadership Symposium on Ethics in Business

Dear ones,

We are pleased to inform you about the 7th International Leadership Symposium on Ethics in Business, which will take place at the European Parliament, Brussels, 18th – 19th November 2010. The Symposium is organised by the World Forum for Ethics in Business, in which the International Association for Human Values (sister organisation of Art of Living) and the World Bank Institute are partnering organisations.

The heart of both the Symposium and the WFEB is to actively build and support ethics as an indispensable foundation to business.  This includes valuing and being in integrity with employees, business partners and the communities in which businesses operate.  As the economy becomes progressively more global and resources dwindle, it is also essential and ethical that we are in integrity with the planet through sustainable development practices. These are very timely issues!  Bringing ethics into organizations is not a nice-to-have item, but a societal need.

The theme of this year's Conference, "Leadership in the 21st Century – Time for a Paradigm Shift?!" stems from the need to reconsider leadership styles and strategies in the face of the ongoing social and economic challenges worldwide. The Symposium will focus on ways to evolve leadership styles that are sustainable, yet profitable.

We would like to share with you the list of high-profile Speakers and the detailed Conference program attached, as well as a background brief for reference.

If you know individuals and organizations interested in corporate social responsibility issues and innovative, sustainable approaches to business, kindly forward them the invitation.

Please note, that registrations are accepted till the 1st November, 2010!
